Abstracts

Abstract submission is now open!

Before submitting, please note the following:

– A $50 non-refundable submission processing fee applies to each abstract.  Payment details below.
– Abstracts must be submitted through the Oxford Abstracts submission portal.
– Submit to a general session if you cannot find a suitable session for your presentation.  Our Committee will find a suitable session.
– Abstracts should be submitted by the presenter.
– Information to be provided includes the following: presenter contact details, presenter photo and biography, abstract title, authors and their affiliations, and abstract text.
– Title and abstract text must be submitted in sentence case.
– As in previous years, there will be no deadline extension.

Deadline: Sat, 30 Nov 2024 at 11:59pm AEDT - No Extensions

The AMOS 2025 abstract submission deadline is 11:59pm AEDT, Saturday, 30 November 2024.  There will be no extension of the deadline.

AMOS 2025 Session themes include:

Atmospheric Processes – Oceanographic Processes – Land Surface Processes – Tropical Meteorology and Oceanography – Polar Meteorology and Oceanography – Climate Variability and Change – Extreme Weather Events – Observations, Modelling, Data Analytics and AI – Water Resources and Hydrology – Agricultural Meteorology – Urban Environment and Air Pollution Meteorology – Renewable Energy, Weather, and Climate – Indigenous Knowledge – Climate Services – Weather and Climate Impacts, Compound Events, Risk and Disaster Risk Reduction – AMOS and the Community: Communications, Education and Outreach.

Submission Processing Fee

Pay by credit card:
– A $50 non-refundable submission processing fee applies to each abstract.
– It is preferred that this fee is paid by credit card (VISA/Mastercard) via Stripe.

Pay by electronic funds transfer (EFT):
– Submit the abstract but do not pay via the Stripe link. An invoice will be forwarded separately via the AMOS Xero accounting system.
– Please include your surname and invoice number on the remittance/reference.
– EFT can be made to the AMOS bank account. Details are as follows:
